  • An overdue charge of Rs. 1 per book per day is to be charged if a book is kept beyond the period of loan.

  • All Library materials must be properly charged out. The user is personally responsible for its prompt and safe return and subject to fines and replacement penalties for damaged or lost items.
  • Any persons found guilty of theft of Library property will be punished.
  • The students may come to the Library at any open time for reading purposes but books will be issued only at the scheduled time as displayed on the notice board.
  • Students must wear ID card inside the Library.
  • Students must stand in Queue to issue books.
  • The condition of the books must be thoroughly examined by the user at the time of issue. If any damage to the book is found at the time of returning, the book should be replaced by the user.
  • In case, any book is lost by the user, the user should replace a same kind of book if available in the market or should pay the cost of replacement with 10% additional charge of the lost book orother useful book referred by Library In charge.
  • Those books which have only limited number of copies will be issued only for shorter periods or even may not be issued. The decision in such cases will be made by the Library staff.
  • Users should be prepared to present their bags or body for inspection when leaving the Library. During winter season, the users should keep their jackets wide open to prevent the books from stealing. 
  • The Library cannot accept responsibility for user's personal belongings. Money, mobile, motorbike license, ATM cards and other valuables should not be left unattended.
  • The users should keep silence inside the library and create a peaceful reading environment for everyone.
  • The same book may be renewed only once by the same user.
  • Books are issued on your own card only and no books will be issued from another's card.
  • Students could browse internet after handing over their I.D. Card to the counter. When they finish browsing, they should switch off the computer.
